How do global climate changes affect the transportation Industry?

Burt Stoecklin: The transportation industry is the 2d greatest source of the CO2 emissions that are inflicting international warming with the objective to offer up the subject from getting worse they are going to would desire to alter.

Merlin Fleischhacker: The basic answer is we don't know until it happens but increased heat will require air conditioners in vehicles using more petrol releasing its pollution! increased cold will require more energy to keep the cars interior warm with the same result. I think that smaller cars will be used in the next hundred years to reduce the levels of pollution, may be electricity as the main power source, Less co2 footprint. As to the organisation and how they work is concerned there may be a change of focus from the large scale manufaction of vehicles to a small locally owned company manufacture who can put luxury into the model, such as thermal screening in the windows to reduce the sun level entering the cars. Research and d! evelopment will increase in value as will the new chemical sciences which produce the thermal screens for example. There may be an additional transportation cost as different crop may be grown and need to be transported further.Making them more expensive to buy....Show more
