Roselee Mczeal: hi, first of all it depends how deep is your interest in Security. Most people start from CompTIA A+, Network + and then Security+. However these 3 give you much credibility unless you will start with some heave weigh like CISCO or MICROSOFT. Yes, NEtwork+ and Security + are the most challenging exams, because Network+ concentrates on similar objects as Cisco. Download objectives from CompTIA Network+ and Security+ and see if those fit your need. anyways here are some web sites for more information: Keep in mind Comptia has a new piolicy regarding all exams. I don't really know, mostly because people with more technical knowledge usually go on this track: A+, Network+ Security+ and CCENT CCNA and then CISSP you must feel this form or you won't be able download objectives....Show more
Dan Seen: Security+ is where I would start, then consider SCNP or SCNA.If you are looking for the gold standard of security designations, look ! to CISSP:https://www.isc2.org/cgi-bin/content.cgi?category=...
