Recommendations for surviving a hostile work environment.?

Alden Sabio: B.S. in Pharmocology should turn the trick.

Somer Distilo: Yes the information is always confidential whether you are employeed there or not

Neville Dautremont: I have a questionnaire to fill out and I came across this question, and I'm stuck, since this will be my first full time job since school.

Autumn Vacio: Email me directly through yahoo answers. I have a corporate training background and can give you the name of a trainer I've used.If you design training programs, you might also consider using the Myers-Briggs or Kiersey Bates test instruments as a starting point to discuss interpersonal differences. The Thomas-Kilman Conflict Modes instrument is also a classic resource. Finally, you might consider the training series "Understanding Yourself And others" by Linda Berens - there are several books in the series that can be used to develop different programs.p.s. The way to deal effectively with a hostile work environment is to change! that hostile enviroment before the company gets sued....Good luck....Show more

Donovan Stallons:

Byron Fortmann: Pharmaceutical sales will more than likely require a four year degree. If you are going into sales then marketing would make sense. Go on job hunting web sites look for the job you want and read the entire info on them look at current newspapers and if they guide you to web site read that they usually list job requirements

Jeannine Vassie: Yes, I have the perfect tool for you..... the Bible. It's a best seller.

Lindsey Zanardi:

Clay Lipira: Be punctual.Dress for success.Keep your employer informed.Work diligently, in accordance to the rules of the workplace.Ask questions.

Bob Pucella: I have dealt with that before and sometimes I still deal with it now. People take things out on other people just because they feel they can or they feel that you may be beneath (that was what happened in my case). What everybody needs to r! ealize is that they are all equal and nobody is truly over any! body else. There should be no belittling regardless of position. Everyone is there to do a job and not to pick on anybody else or make anybody feel as they have to be uncomfortable at their own job. Remind them that everyone had a first day and everyone had those moments when things became too much for them. As humans we are different people and everyone has to learn at some point and time how to deal with those individuals. Cutting down on the hostitlity helps when it comes to loud or obnoxious people who are trying to get their way. Everyone just needs to stay calm and keep their eyes open for things and be alerted early on so not to cause any dramatic problems later on. Just stay open and concentrate on doing your job and going home. Don't walk around ignoring other people. Help out someone when you see they need it. And that may calm things down a bit. Hope it helps :)...Show more
