Ervin Overbee: No.as people age they mature, develop, and more importantly, cha! nge. More studies come out every year showing that the younger a coupl! e marries, the more likely they will divorce. At 16 an individual is not yet fully developed in their sense of self and are more likely to give up when the going gets tough. That being said, I married young (20) and am happily still with him after all these years. But that is the exception not the rule....Show more
Codi Manchel: OH no way! You must realize how much people change in a few years, especially in their teens. I thought I would marry the guy I was dating when I was 17, but man how much I had changed in the years between then and 22. I would say you have your whole life ahead of you to be married and take on the roles of being married. Live your childhood to the fullest you only have a few more years until you will have to start taking care of yourself and paying your own bills etc.
Collin Pelfrey: The older and more industrialized this country gets.. the more it will be inapropriate. In other countries, a 'man' and 'woman' started at like 12.(depending! on whether they worked or were raising kids)but since everyone wants to copy the U.S.... theyhave Upped the age for consentual sex and marriage....Show more
